A quick glance at a few of their common opponents
Cornelius Boza Edwards
vs Chacon I - Chacon L by TKO 14rd.
Chacon II - Chacon W by UD in 12.
Edwards
vs Camacho, Camacho W by 12rd UD.
Rafael "Bazooka" Limon
vs. Chacon I - Bobby loses a 10rd UD.
Chacon II - fight stopped, TD (Limon cut, Chacon headbutt)
Chacon IIII - Chacon pulls out a SD win.
Chacon IV - Chacon W UD in 15.
Limon
vs Camacho, Macho wins by TKO in 5th.
Mancini
vs. Chacon, "Boom Boom" W by 3rd TKO.
vs. Camacho, "Macho" W by 12rd SD.
The hand speed and quickness of Camacho would be too much for Chacon to deal with. Also, Camacho would not stand in front of Chacon to trade with him. "Macho" uses the ring to maintain distance all the while tearing "Schoolboy's" face up with rapid, accurate jabs.
The fight ends when Chacon's corner declares their fighter is too badly cut and unable to continue after the finish of the 7th round. Camacho comfortably ahead on all scorecards at the end.

Chacon was a very good fighter and tough as nails. Camacho was an outstanding boxer with some pretty slick footwork. Chacon probably has a slight power edge and Macho definetly has faster hands. Chacon would fight hard and land some good punches, but Macho wins the decision because of a higher volume of punches landed. Good boxing matchup.

Camacho would take this by a mid round tko, too much speed and skill.Lets not forget that Chacon didn't fight him when he was Champ, so that says alot.

Chacon. He cuts off the ropes, taking a decision in 10.

Respect both fighters but, Macho in his prime had to much speed for Chacon. In my opinion Macho would frustrate Chacon and take him out of gameplan thus, forcing him to fight Machos fight.
