Check the pads to see if they are cracked or if anything is stuck between them (like a thorn ). See if you can see or find a sore or signs of bleeding. Check to see if the pads look raw or like they have been rubbed , scraped or sanded raw. Check the joints by gently bending to and fro without forcing the joints . If you don't or can't find anything it's time to see the vet . How long has this been going on , has he jumped from any height lately , how old is he etc etc are all questions the vet will ask and need to know. The vet may suggest an xray after all this to determine if damage exists that's not evident. Dogs are a lot like people in that it could be the result of some thing that happened awhile ago but is just now showing symptoms . (IE a stone bruise , sprain etc ). Get your info ready for the vet before you go to give you more time to think back on anything you and/or your might have done to bring the problem on ......... then go see the vet . Good luck!

And for how long?? Did he fall or jump off anything or run too much or play too rough, but it really doesn't matter. But let me ask you this, when you don't or can't use your arm how long do you wait before calling your doctor?? If your boxer is not using his front leg then HELLO TAKE HIM TO THE VET!! Even if it is not broken he is obviously in pain, hence not using it. But do not under any circumstance give him human medications you use for pain without talking to your vet. Have you called the vet yet???!!!

That's very unusual for a dog. I'm sure it's either broken, or swollen, or sensitive or anything else like that. You better take him/her to the vet. Try to keep the dog at rest, or it might cause some more injury. Try not to touch it much before going to the vet.

Well obviously your poor dog has an injury and not walking on it means it HURTS when he does!!
This is a no brainer, take the dog to the vet for crying out loud! How are we supposed to know if it's broke?

It's really hard to say, if it's broken or not. The dog is obviously in alot of pain. You really need to get him to the vet right away. If your vet's office is closed, then take him to an Animal ER, they are open 24 hours. They need to X-Ray and examine his leg, to find out if it's broken. That's the only way, you're going to get any answers, and the only way to get your poor dog out of pain. Please, don't wait!

there is not any particular thanks to entice close, you should probable take it to the vet once you could, and save an eye fixed on the canines till then. till you spot the vet, be sure your canines would not do something that could worsen the limping, for that's a destroy or a sprain.
