I hear all the time from people "you're so pretty." "you're not THAT tall." But I am only in ninth grade. I just feel as if I'm a giant looking down on just about everyone. =[[

Sometimes I feel like I'm looking down on people who are really taller than me, and even anjelina jolie is 5'7. So maybe I'm just paranoid ??

5' 7" is a great height!

I stopped growing in seventh grade (I am an adult now) and I am 5'9". It was a little awkward for the first few years, but once the boys grew it was fine.

You are not a giant. I always enjoyed being a little taller than the rest of the girls. The only restriction that I can think of with being taller is it may be awkward dating a guy who is 5'6" or shorter. Don't worry, there are tons that are taller. Besides, height isn't really that important.

If you were short, you would not be able to see at standing concerts, you show weight gain faster, you can't reach top shelves, it may be awkward kissing a tall boy, etc...

My friend was nearly six feet tall at 13, now she's gonna be fifteen in a few months and she is six feet tall. There are a few girls in my school that around the 6' mark.(either right below or right above) I'm almost fifteen and I'm 5'6.5", not quite 5'7" but I don't look down on everyone. I think you are just paranoid, there's nothing wrong with being tall. Other people will grow and catch up to you, no biggie.

a variety of of people quit transforming into round 18-21 years old. i imagine you'll finally end up ending round 5'9, it truly is noticeably a lot the same old properly in the U.S. 5'7 isn't short a 14 year old, i'm 19 and that i'm in trouble-free words 5'7 so yeah i'm noticeably short and that i imagine i have reached my end. you likely don't like this different wager yet when you consider that both one in all of your moms and dads are not fairly tall, there's a good probability you'll finally end up truly taller than your dad. 5'8 or 5'9 is likely going to be your end factor. yet that is in trouble-free words my knowledgeable wager

LOL
Know how you feel (I'm taller than you :-P ). I live in a city where I am one of the tallest. But then I travelled to another city on the opposite side of the country and I was just slightly below average height there. Everything is relative.

Height is stunningly beautiful if you carry yourself with grace and confidence (will turn a lot of guy's heads and be something envied by others). Just make sure you DON'T carry yourself feeling self conscious... after all, who wouldn't want to be more like a model?

Well, first of all, most likely you're through growing-or nearly. But, two questions that might help you find an answer: How tall are your parents and grandparents, and what were their growth patterns? Also-and this might sound odd-find out how tall you were when you were two years old and double it. That should give you a very close estimate of your adult height. And try to relax, everyone's feet touch the ground. What happens after that is up to you.

I feel the same way being 5'7. The truth is that I just have really short friends. I don't like wearing heels but then again, a girl that I went to high school was at least 6' and she always wore heels. I think it's a confidence thing... and most people don't think about other peoples' hight. They have other things to worry about...

5'7" is great! I was about your height in 9th grade, and I'm about 5'8" now. I never had any trouble with my height, even dated a few guys that were a few inches shorter than me. It makes wearing clothes fun - everything will fit you great when you're older. It's a good, average height, so don't think you're weird. When you're a senior, a lot of your friends (boys and girls) will start shooting up to your height. Be proud of it!

No don't worry about your height when I was 15 I had reached my full height of 5'9 luckily I stopped growing.

For me being tall has had it's benefits for example being able to reach products on the very top shelf in the supermarket and always being chosen to be the goal shooter in Net Ball

i went through the same thing. i was always the tall girl in class. by 6th grade i was 5'6 and taller than all the boys of course. and to make it worse, i wore a C cup. my body was way to mature for my brain and the brains of all the boys. but you will learn to love it. if you can a few pounds, it wont show as much. im 5'8 now and i love being tall. who wants to be a short squaty troll that doesnt stand out. i love standing out and walking into a room and everyone cant help but to notice me. its fun. but thats just me.

You're paranoid! Tall is beautiful girl! You don't see any short worldly models do you? It may be awkward now, but your age will catch your height! I tell that to my daughter...she's 13 and 5'6. I believe people who have awkward moments in life builds their character. You sound like a very sweet beautiful well rounded girl!
