Recently I was using my telescope when i found saturn, I really get exited because i've never seen a planet (only in pictures or T.V) so naturally i wished to capture that moment but someone tells me that i can only use a ccd camera it's that true or i can use my digital camera or the one who comes in the cell phone

Kevin : well see that's very difficult because it will take special
photo optic lens made for your " Telescope" must have good
power range of 50 x/100x refractor. But any reason use http://www.mobile.photoptics.com or see http://www.planet.saturn.com

I was very into that years ago and used my olympus 35mm film camera, it has a telescope mount and I removed the camera lens...you can buy the same camera, body only if you like, on ebay for less than a hundred dallors and get a ring mount for about twenty...it worked well...I know...

i dono if u can see it with your eye i guess u could use a reg. cam
