Somebody asked the question if we "feel sorry for humanity". Many "yes" answers were provided. However, we are humanity and I don't think we should feel sorry for ourselves. We should try to improve ourselves. So, what is one thing you would do to improve humanity?

I will start. People who violate the purest form of humanity, something each of us has been ~ a child, should have NO future rights. Death penalty is not harsh enough for people like this. How about life-time prison sentence with no parole. No TV, no weights, no "social interactive times", nothing. Rights to exist have been exhausted by being a "monster", and not a human being.

Good question.
In order to do something to improve the world, we have to learn what is our true self, what is the world, and what exactly is improvement (many people claim to serve mankind, but the result is none or negative).
The world today is no longer the village, the city, the nation..., it is truly the world. The application of physical light in the computer has removed all geographical barriers; the application of the spiritual light in science and religion will remove all cultural barriers. All humanity will be able to cooperate with each other to tackle all problems and to turn this earth into paradise.
The most important step is that each and all of us should learn about oneself to realize that he is potentially powerful and can humbly make his direct contribution in the great world plans devised by the world organizations such as WHO, FAO, UNDP, UNESCO, UNICEF etc...
The bright future of the world is inevitable.

If I had the power to improve humanity the first thing I would bring back is the old law an eye for an eye.

There really isn't much we can do for humanity at this point, just reach out to the ones we can.

An eye for an eye doesn't leave everyone blind. It only leaves the criminals blind.
