No it doesn't. Larger breeds of dogs are less likely to shake from being cold. An easy way to tell if the dog is cold is to feel the pads on the feet, the nose, and the ears. If they are cold, the dog is too!

Just like a human, a dog can be cold even if he's not shaking. Maybe you should feel his body--including extremities, like his paws--to see if he seems cold. It may give you a more accurate idea of how he's feeling.

you are really concern about the dog being cold. and l guess the problem is with your neighbor again. so just call the animal control or just go see if they have a place to keep warm. if there is three of them ,they will most likely huddle up to each other and keep warm. l feel your concern but three together is better then one.

No it doesn't... Dogs can still be cold and not show outward signs.. Normally if they are cold they will curl up and try to get warm.

No not necessarily. I if it is a small dog then no that is just the way it breathes. Because I have had small dogs in the past and they were shaky all the time.
