i can only think of two right off the top of my head:
1~A box without a lid yet it holds a golden treasure inside, Whats the box?
2~What gets wetter as it dries?

I dont know the first one, but the second one is a towel. Oh and how about this, what has hundreds of holes on every side, but still holds water?

you have number one wrong it's not a box! It's just a white thing with out a lid or door(etc.) and that is an egg!
Number 2 is a towel!
And a box with hundreds of holes in the sides that still hold water: it's a sponge!
