i havent gone.. but you gotta get a spot in the audience early.....soo go to the website and find out.. im not sure

You need to make sure TRL is taping in-studio that day. They sometimes tape on location elsewhere, so you might want to check w/ MTV.
It's free, but be prepared to get there a few hours early to stand in line.
