okay I definetely know people with regrets about goin to the salon cause they just look different than they'd normally look
I'd make a better decision with a picture but whatever you do make sure its not too different - prom is the time to go all out - you are going to have these pictures for the rest of your life
I could give a tip...
I'd say... just stay classy... straighten your hair and pin the middle top section back in a puff if you know what I'm talking about

Well personally I think if you use a large curling iron and spray each curl with hairspray as you curl it, the curls last longer and then don't brush it out but use your fingers with your head bent over and fluff it out- then throw your head back and kind of touch it up around your face (no hair brush) This gives a real natural look and kinda sexy too. Good luck with your choice of style and make sure you feel comfortable with your decision remember it is YOUR big day.

From a guys perspective....

Most guys would like to see you how they've seen you all year long. If you normally wear your hear straight, over the sholders or all coming down your back. Do your hair real nice, that looks close to how you normally wear it.

When I look back to my senior year book, the girls that went all out and went to a salon to get thier hair done, just don't look the same they did as we went through school. I like to remember people as they were as we grew up.

Hope this helps.

it depends on your look, if you have a straight long hair without frizz then let it be it might catch all the attention of the audience, else if you have shorter and curly hair ,ask somebody or an hair expert to do it for you. its better if you have someone to help you 'coz they can tell whether it looks good on you or not. just don't pick someone that hates you coz they might suggest the wrong look. goodluck!!!

Get what you think brings out your best features. If you have pretty eyes, wear your hair so that your eyes show the most. Which style is the most flattering to you? What would your friends/boyfriend say? Go with the style that gets the most compliments.

Looking back at high school photos, I always laugh the hardest at those people who had the trendiest hairstyles - because today, they look TOTALLY REDICULOUS!!! I would go with something classic and sophistocated like the woman you are growing to be! My two cents...good luck!

Straight, with as much volume that can fit underneath the cap.

keep it straight and part it on the side that your tassle will be on -- that way your pictures will still look good years from now after trends and fashionable hairstyles have changed

Loose waves are almost always awesome. You might look good in braids, or just put it in a cool headband or scarf.
