A book written by the minds of men can have plenty of versus taken out of context. A book that is written by something more advanced than humans should be completely flawless. Additionally, no verse should be able to be taken out of context, for God would see this happening ahead of time.

...or am I just expecting too much of God?

I would suggest to you that Gods Word is perfect. It is our understanding of Gods Word that is flawed. Those who know God are given wisdom and understanding. The world has a veil over its eyes so that "Seeing they might not see. And hearing they might not hear. Sin and unbelief stand in the way of interpreting the scriptures correctly. Gods Word is the same, yesterday and today. Ask God to give you wisdom and understanding. Read His Word. God Bless You....Peace.

maximum individuals experience the Bible is inspired through technique of religion. maximum individuals also do not take the earliest elements actual, regardless of the indisputable fact that though as inspired through technique of religion. there is a few historic previous and some legend, and the historic previous is more desirable ideal the more desirable as a lot as this aspect that's. there will be worship, praise or perhaps suggestion. it truly is maximum valuable the former testomony. the hot testomony is a more desirable comfortable, ideal and closer account, though inspired through technique of God. There were needed differences interior the Bible as time went on. some Christians (and Mormons--there's a debate to even if or not they might should be seen Christian) blindly study the King James' version with out even asking why there became once a reason to create the Revised usual version. both one of those lot major motives are that the English language has switched over in 4 hundred years, and what became once actual defined then isn't so clear to a present day-day reader. The poetry is all correct, and that's though a masterpiece. The RSV updates the clarity through technique of four hundred years of evolution of the English language and through technique of more desirable as a lot as this aspect analyze that shows that colloquial and now not formal language became once used interior the similar old aspects. It made a replace. you've an unusual function. i'm Christian or perhaps i do not do not forget the Bible to were actual dictated through technique of God. it really is compared to Joseph Smith who claimed to get a pair of magic spectacles with which to study the sacred golden plates. And yet you who're actual now not Christian questions even if guy would write down right what God has dictated. if you're complaining about inaccuracy, you want to experience that there will be a ideal version dictated through technique of God. Even i do not experience that. inspired, particular. actually dictated, no.

In Matthew 4 when Jesus was tempted in the desert, even the Devil himself took Psalm 91:11-12 out of context in attempt to convince Jesus to kill himself.

If the Devil can do such a thing, why not humans? This is why when we study the bible and quote its verses we are to carefully understand the background and historical/situational context of the writers to attempt to understand what he was saying. God does not forbid people to misuse his scriptures- the world is full of false teachers and false prophets and false Christs. We are however, to exercise discernment in understanding truth from false doctrine.

But one thing stands true: 2 Timothy 3;15-17 states
"...you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

The bible is still the most important tool in teaching, instructing, correcting and training. We cannot ever abandon its words, but always be vigilant in its use and application.

Yes, People expect too much of God. Were suppose to have faith in God and let God do the rest. Were suppose to have faith as small as a mustard seed. That seed is the type that grow's bigger then any other type of seed in the world!

God's word cannot be taken out of Contact,
But people still seem to think that they can. Because they want it to fit there lifestyle.

We take the Bible out of context out of sear convenience so as to justify their own brand of judgment in the name of God. Plus, the original meaning is often lost due to the vast differences in the societal cultures of ancient peoples versus modern peoples.

Humans have the capability to twist words any way they want. The Bible is the perfect word of God. God gave humans free will, and it appears that it is the will of some to twist His words.
