Yes, It is. still one of the best brand. The analog and digital type of olympus both produces high-quality photos. No reference, but it is based on experience. But, imho, Nikon or Canon with the same cost, a bit better than olympus.

I would never buy an Olympus compact because their photo quality etc is just not good enough (and many are very slow).
You want a good brand? Look at Canon, which will beat Olympus for photo quality any time.

Yes.
I had a C4000 several years ago and liked it very well.
I also shoot 35mm film with an Olympus Stylus Epic, which is a great little pocket camera, fast, sharp lens, perfect for times when I don't want to take a SLR or the digicam.

HAHAHAH used to be...Olympus is still one of the best. The only good ones are Olympus and Canon. And the Kodak dual-lens. Sony's zoom sucks.

It is still good but make sure that you don't buy the cheaper ones because they're not great. It you want a cheaper camera the canon's are far better.

yes, but think to buy the more known digicam for their durability and class like canon, nikon, sony , etc
