I seriously think that that is a terrible idea. No offense to anyone out there. Anyway, you can die if you don't drink/consume anything with water. Your cells need water or else they will dry out or something along the lines of that. Like other people have said, you can DIE OF DEHYDRATION. Duh.

YES, You lose water at a rate of 4 ml/kg/hr per 1st 10kg then add 2mg/kg per hour for 2nd 10kg, then add 1ml/kg/hr for additional kg above 20 kg. ie 70kg man looses 40+20+50=90cc/hr x 24hr/day=2160cc/day. About 70 ounces of water each day.

yes, here is the scientific explanation. you need water (to make a long explanation short) your cells need water for most of their chemical reactions, yes i know what you are thinking. but if your cell needs energy it needs to break up stored energy by breaking it apart with chemical reactions.
