Generally, there is no reason you cannot take the two together, but there may be some reason YOU cannot take advil, regardless of your taking cephalexin.

Cephalexin is an antibiotic and advil is a pain reliever. They do not have any adverse efffects when taken together.

Cephalexin is just an antibiotic. You can take an Advil...all it is, is Ibuprofen.

My doctor gave me that antibiotic a few weeks ago alond with motrin.
