No I do not understand killing in the name of God. I do understand dying for God or for someone else that you love. The only exception would be in self defense. You cannot compare a mother killing someone to save her child to someone killing for God. God doesn't need that kind of defense from us. We should lay down our lives for others though.
May God Bless you.

The reasons we Christians do not accept or understand some people of Islam who kill is this. We believe, whole heartedly that they worship a false God. So in worshipping this false God they are told to destroy all non muslims then we cannot accept, understand or tolerate this evilness.
Understand?

I understand it and if it is the logical conclusion of ones religion that killing people in the name of their god is acceptable, I do not hesitate to condemn that religion.

If you would read the Bible you would find that war is not only sometimes justified, in some cases God actually ordered it. Thou shall not kill has nothing to do with war.

yep. I don't approve of it though. Why would you kill people because of thier faults when it is God's grace that forgives your own faults?
I don't believe I need to kill people to get the Gospel (good news) across. I just tell them what God did in my life.

People USE (notice I typed use) God's name to justify what they want done.
Does this make it correct? NO
Is this correct with God? NO I don't feel that it is, but those who do this will answer for their actions on Judgment Day

i do understand it. what's so hard to understand about it? it's obvious to me that there are plenty of other religions in the world that have practices opposite of mine. i'm sure it's obvious to others also. like you said, you're not talking about accepting it, and i do not accept it, but i do understand it.

Killing is of Satan no matter what they say. Satan and his followers lie. Many say they are of God but it is a lie they state to attempt to slander God. It does not slander God because no Christain would kill. If they kill they are not of God.
