Jesus is the Son of God. and there are writings confirming His birth, ministry, death, and ressurection. Flavius Josephus (A.D.93)
the Babalonian Talmud (A.D.70-200), Piney the Younger's letter to the Emperor Trajan(approx. A.D. 100) the Annals of Tacitus (A.D.115-117), Mara Bar Serapion (sometime after A.D. 73) and Suetonius' Life of Claudius and Life of Nero (A.D. 120)
What more do you need ????? There is more proof of God and everything the bible says than you can shake a stick at. Look at prophecy. Israel becoming a nation. before 1948 they were a nation until 70 AD when the Romans attacked and destroyed the temple also written in the history books. The bible is true and God is real and so is Hell and so is Jesus. Do some research the truth just may save your soul from eternal damnation. Do you agree???

If everything that was written in a book was true, the world would have a racial seperation of Muggles and Wizards. Don't beleive something just because it's written in a book. Use your brain, not your blind faith.

Damn, calm down. They can say this because while there is proof of Jesus, there is no proof of his genetics, or that his father was actually God (although I m not sure what his genes would look like even then) And people can say this because scholars agree that the Bible, even if orginially written by a true to life prophet, has not been straightly photocopied into identical books, it has been altered as time has gone by, perhaps even to the writer's own selfish whims. Although God may explain a lot in this world, and make a whole bunch of people feel better about their true purpose in life, there has been no documented tangible proof (even the kind found in the bible) in documented history that beyond a shadow of a doubt happened. That is how people can say it. But I believe in him anyway, just not all parts of the Bible, like 6 days, I'm a more intelligent design kind of person.

Everything you mentioned was three decades after Jesus's death. How was anyone going to remember some guy who got nailed to a cross? It would be like trying to name anyone on death row anywhere. Why would they be so special? Then there is all the "prophets" claiming to be the son of god. Every king used that line to get people to follow him. The majority actually believed they were the son of god.
Finally, everything mentioned in your "question" does not mention Jesus. It mentions the new cult on the block, the christians and what a pain they are getting to be. You do some research.

Disagree. There is proof of a MAN named Jesus. That's all that extra-biblical evidence can show. There is no book outside the Bible that shows definitively that Jesus was resurrected. There is no non-religious text that claims he is anything other than a man.

People seeing supposed prophecy can cause it to come about. Someone can read a text about a city to come, and create it. Is this real prophecy? It's really no more different than reinterpreting history to match scripture.

There is no evidence outside of the Bible of Hell, Heaven, the deity of Christ, or basically any other tenet of faith. The so called "proof" that can be offered by Christians that their god is real comes down to the Bible and personal experience. Non-religious texts point only to the existence of a man, and offer nothing to those looking for proof of a God.

They look but they do not see. They listen but they do not hear they live but they have no life. They walk in darkness and close their eyes when God and Christians hold the light for them to see. They live in darkness and love it because they hide from the light because their deeds are evil.

No, I don't agree. If you notice, all of the references you cited are from well after Jesus' death. None of the people writing those references had any direct knowledge of Jesus.

The references don't constitute proof of Jesus's divinity, nor do they constitute proof of God.

Writings yes but any fool could have wrote that stuff. They didn't have much else to do in those days, and the stories are not exactly put together well are they now. I could do better myself.

Amen Chris!!!!! exactly so,it takes an evil heart to refuse to accept that God is real and the Bible is truth. God must draw to Himself those who will be saved. For those who won't, nothing we can do about that.

Jesus Christ is LORD !!!!!!!!!

Not measurable
Not repeatable
Not verifiable.

You need all three to be considered evidence.
