im going to go to college for criminal justice to possibly become a probation officer or a cop but can i really be a cop if i already have been convicted of a dui, and i am fighting a felony right now?

u have to have a CLEAN record in order to b a cop....so that dui lowers ur chances by a lot

You cannot be a cop with a felony nor with a DUI. Sorry. Maybe you could join the military as an MP?

Let your lawyer and the judge know your ambitions. It's possible with the right judge this could make a difference, depending on what you are accused of and whether or not you actually did it
If you have an attitude, lose it, and put yourself at the mercy of the court.
If apologies or restitution is in order, step forward.
Not enough details here to really give you the best advice, but I know someone who was recently accused falsely and the charge dismissed after the case was featured on TV. Good luck and stay out of trouble.

A DUI several years ago, Maybe but not likely. Fighting a felony, Forget it. Sorry!

Depending on the State, maybe yes, maybe no. Once you get a job you can do just about anything you want. Especially in places with strong unions.
