it sounds like its going to die..then the other day when i had it parked...i looked under the hood and it looked like sparks were shooting..i changed my spark plugs 7 months ago..is it time for new ones and new hoses for them?

no you do not need new spark plugs, where is the spark at when u seen it

Change your plug wires. They get old after time and the insulation breaks down from age and the excessive heat under the hood. A complete tune up would be ideal. Cap and rotor for the distributor, and plug wires should do it.

Your plug wires are most probably full of cracks and need changing.

its the plug wires that's probably going bad on it,,that's why it looked like that with the fire jumping around on it,,id replace them.that should help it a lot,,good luck i hope this help,s.

sounds like your plug wires need replacing.
