Thank you for asking this question. I have been wanting to tell all of our soldiers and their families how sorry I am that you cannot be together right now.
However you feel about the war, you have to say a thank you to the soldiers.
I am even more sorry when I open up Yahoo, and there on the headline is Mr. Bush saying that the troops now cannot go home. No more limits? There are men over there that have never seen their babies. What about their children? The damage that is being wrought on them will be evident in the future of our country.
There are troops over there that have been told that they were coming home only to have that changed at the last minute and be re-deployed for another year. They make crappy wages and do not (in my opinion) get nearly enough compensation from our government for putting their lives on the line every single minute that they are there.
