Deuteronomy 24 : 4 -Since she has slept with her second husband, she cannot marry her first husband again. Their marriage would pollute the land that the LORD your God is giving you, and he would be disgusted. Jeremiah 3:1 - 1 If a man divorces his wife and she leaves him to marry another, can he ever return to her? Wouldn't such a land become totally defiled?
Islam - Bukhari Volume 7, 63, Number 187:: A man divorced his wife thrice (by expressing his decision to divorce her thrice), then she married another man who also divorced her. The Prophet was asked if she could legally marry the first husband (or not). The Prophet replied, "No, she cannot marry the first husband unless the second husband consummates his marriage with her, just as the first husband had done."
God said its DISGUSTING & SICKENING, but Allah/muhammad encourages you to do it. What do you think ??? Can allah be God? Use your brain. Elah/Ilah means God, Allah is/was a NAME of a stone moon idol.

If you're wondering why this was reposted, its because some fool warped the question and replied the argument on a literal premise instead.
Since allah cannot be the one that saved the Jews from Egypt in the Exodus, it means allah as called by the muslims, cannot be God. Allah did not used to mean literally, god, in the past. Ilah/Elah literally means God.
Muslims tell you "there is no god but allah", that statement alone is an admission that allah does not LITERALLY mean 'god'.

To Ms Questions: Your behaviour here justifies my "rude" reply to you. Also if you expect to be spoon fed, please go home. Nobody is here to teach you about the scripture when you don't even want to pick it up to read it. You asked a question about marriages without any interest on what are the religious responsibilities, this shows a total absence of any spiritual endeavor. Now, why should anyone teach a lazy person about scripture who is not in the least interested in scriptural teachings but only about her marriage? Your behavior further affirms my suspicion of your lack of integrity..

Allah is simply the name of God in Arabic, this word is not used for idols or other deities but only to denote unseen God, who is the Creator and sustainer of every thing. Even Arabic speaking Jews and Christians use the word Allah to refer to God. You can see Allah mentioned throughout Arabic bible, see http://www.arabicbible.com

Does Muhammad (pbuh) encourage you to divorce? Do you know the only time you can marry your ex-husband or ex-wife is if you first marry someone else and then divorce them. Few people get divorced because of this law. Divorce is strongly disliked by Allah. It is not seen as a joke. you cannot just divorce and remarry whenever you want.
besides, you're argument is illogical. opinion of divorce doesnt tell you what religion is true or false. to force someone to stay in a marriage that is doing more damage than good is wrong.
Allah does not literally mean God. illah does. Allah is derived from the save word but implies oneness meaning, "one God" or "The only God."

I fail to see how he "engourages" the relationship. I also fail to see what the Prophet's opinion on the subject is. What I do see is that he is simply stating the permissiblity of it.
Allah can be God. There is a whole science to why Allah is different to other gods. Oh, and another thing, Allah was not the name of a stone moon idol. There is no evidence to support that statement. One reason why is:

Asker: leave your bowl of poison for a while and listen.
Whatever you say is your garbage. Here is what Muslims believe:
They believe in the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad. But you want them to go away, find some moon god for themselves?
They believe in one and only One God, Who created the whole universe and all the creature in it and sustain it. But you want them with your deep ignorance to go and find another god of moon for themselves.
They believe that when Abraham looked aound to search for the truth and finally declared that neither the stars, moon or sun are god and everything is a creation and declared that he now believes that there is only One God that the rest is creation. That is in the Quran and that, that Abraham declared as God, is the Almighty God that Muslim believe in.
There are ignorant people and that included Sr. Dr. Graham son who made similar ignorant utterances. But the Quran declares " Say, He is Allah, the One and Only. Allah, the Eternal Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is not one comparable to Him". unquote.
Allah is the name in Arabic and it is also used by Arab Christians and was use by Jews in Arab land during daily conversation.
If other people use other names but if they mean the one and only One God, that is the deity Muslim believe as God but they use the name Allah as mentioned in the Quran. Quran.
May your poison dry out soon.

The name of God is YHWH. Most scholars pronounce the tetragrammaton as Yahweh.
The name of Allah is the name of the God of Islam.

Divorce is not to be taken lightly therefore there are such stringent conditions. If not for Prophet Mohammads teachings then situation would become like Americas where divorce is rampant.
You quote Exodus? I thought it was not to be followed as New Testament came. Why don't you quote Exodus 21:7-11 where it is allowed to sell daughter as slave?

The Islamic religion follows Judaism through the first 4 books of the New Testament. Muslims believe that they, too, are descended from Abraham (through his wife's handmaid's (Hagar) son - Ishmael. Hebrews (Jews) are descended from Abraham's other son Isaac.
Islamic people worship the same entity - being - supernatural person - whatever you wish to call "God" that Hebrews and Christians do. The difference is in the language.
Spanish-speaking Christian people worship "Dios", French-speaking Christian people worship "Dieu", German-speaking Christian people worship "Gott", and Arabic speaking people (most Muslims) worship "Allah".
By the way, in answer to your argument that "Allah is/was a name of a stone mood idol, history teaches us that many people worshiped "Gods". They called them "God". The Romans and Greeks had "Gods"...The word "God" is just that...a word. The God you are referring to in your question has a name, His name is not "God". In fact, He has several names...the most commonly used is "Yahweh", pronounced "Yah-way". So...your argument is simply not valid.
The bottom line is: Muslims worship the same God that Hebrews and Christians do. They just use a different word for Him.
