I would think that chaplins get the same pay grad as any other person of the same rank??? And years in service etc...

All government employee pay is a matter of public record. If you search military pay, you can find the pay charts. A chaplain makes the same regardless what branch he or she serves. Base Pay is based on rank and number of years served total. Additional pay is granted for housing (depends on where he is stationed), dependents, area of service (combat zone, at sea, etc). An army chaplain with lets say 10 years in serving in Iraq who is married probably makes about $100k year, since he is not paying taxes. This is probably accurate within $10k.

Chaplains in the Army are Officers and as such,they get paid as officers. Chaplains are assigned to units just like any other officer.

Well it depends on his rank, and unlike someone said on here, Evan in a tax free zone, officers will still get taxed if they make a certain amount
