Guys don't lie about everything. Who told you that guys lied about everything, probably another girl or woman.
This is a misconception that has carried over down through the ages.
Women condition themselves and other women to believe that men lie no matter what. Women will get into little gossip group and tell each other that you can not believe anything a man says, everything coming out of their mouths is a lie.
What would you do If you knew that someone was not gonna believe you no matter what you say or how you say it?
So as not to disappoint the women in my life, guess what I do?

It's not that we like to lie. It's that we do so many stupid things and don't want anyone knowing about them that we have no choice but to lie and save face.

guys like to lie about stupid things is because they think that are cool when say stuff that is not true to get attention.

They don't, it's just a response to the stress of the question. If the question is a stupid one then they give a stupid answer. Can you elaborate about some of the questions they were asked?

Well first off, men do not have the market cornered on lying. So why does anyone lie, for simple for gain, fear, or God forbid a noble cause of sparing feelings.
Gain - of your affection, attention, lust...etc
Fear - of losing you, of confrontation, or their own insecurities
Noble - truth sometimes hurts and can be hurtful

They were all born with a slower maturity speed than females.They also do it to be cool to impress their friends. Not they would ever be caught. I'm sure we have all lied for some reason or another, but I think it's in their blood.

Well, of course not all men are liars, but for those who are, I think it becomes a habit and they end up lying when they don't even need to. I also think good liars either justify their lying ("she just wouldn't understand...") or they actually convince themselves of the lie.
It's a paradox. And they forget that loss of trust is a bigger problem to overcome. It's up to us not to accept it. Once a liar...

I don't know what you mean but I guess there are those that do sometimes. It depends on your definition of stupid. As far as lying goes, how do you know he is lying? If he is and it is inconsequential, what does it matter? If it is major in nature then this is another matter altogether.

For the same reasons women do. Self- Protection, testing the other person, jealousy, anger, to get pity, fear of being left or making us mad, and simply because they don't think somethings are important or matter that much to us.
