why would that be wrong?
my b/f goes to the movies by himself all the time... what's bad about that? it's a movie....

Not at all I used to go to the movies by myself all the time cause I was not in a relationship and because the people I knew did not like the movie so enjoy.

I used to go to the movies by myself. You go watch what you want when you want, you know you can't talk during the movie anyway. Some people see it as a social outing if I want to socialise I'll go for a coffee or a beer etc.
Some people like seeing a good film.

No. Lots of people go by themselves. Some of them are in relationships but just want to go see a movie that the other person has no interest in. The ones who aren't just don't want to sit at home just because they are not involved in a relationship.

I personally enjoy it. To heck with what other peoplet think. I think it takes a strong person to go to movies or out to eat alone. It definately give you time to relax, and you just might enjoy it alot. Then you can go see all those guilty pleasure movies and not have to worry about dragging anyone else along.

I've gone to a movie or two by myself before, and I had the same question. It felt a bit odd to me, and I wasn't really comfortable doing it. It depends on the person I guess.

There are lots of movies that are of interest to me and no one else I know so I will go by myself. It's an escape and can be looked at as such for an individual! Happy Movie going!

well really you shouldnt go to the movies on your own. all depends on your age. if your a teenager well then you should go out with friends instead of hanging by yourself. if your a 40 year old for example its pretty cool going out just to watch a movie on your own. but its better going out with friends. you'll enjoy the movie more

i dont see anything wrong with going to the movies alone coz i did that before... but its much better to go with a friend, family member coz its much more exciting if youre with a companion to feel the excitement of the movie you are watching...

but think about it
its a film...
people watch films at home by themselves the whole time so why should it be different somewhere else
its not like your going bowling by yourself or something
