no it only compels a person to realize they are a part of something so amazingly huge

Nope.

As I realize more and more that I'm less important, I realize more and more that my purpose is to improve myself and my understanding. I don't have to worry about changing other people... I'm not their higher power.

It's not my job to convince others who "god" is. It's not my job to make someone else's life meaningful. It's not my job to correct churches or institutions or countries. I'm responsible only for my part in what I do.

Knowing all of this, I work on my own life, my own assets and defects and live the best I can. This is what makes me happy.

If I were responsible for everyone and everything that they do... i.e. if I were somehow universally significant, the responsibility would be overwhelming. Being a God or Goddess isn't what I'm here for.

Counter thought; They should realize they are significant; but God is the Creator, the person is part of the creation.
