For general all around play the Tippman 98 or Tippman A5 can't go wrong. Paint has never jammed in any of them that our family owns. Cold or warm weather. We have owned other brands but junk them and go back to the Tippman. That is the best for a reasonable amount of money and for just regular play.

It is very simple. The best woodsball gun is any tippmann. But in speedball, there is not best. People prefer Egos, Dyes, Angels, Smart Parts, whatever. Certain guns are better than others and you cannot just pick one over all. For example, the WGP karnivor is the fastest gun in the world. Dyes and Egos are known to be very reliable and accurate. So my point is, THERE IS NO BEST GUN.

For playing in the woods, Tippman. For speedball, Ego. I hope this helps!
