I have been studying Spirituality for 3 years now (not religion). It is amazing to me. I am a Christian and believe in Jesus and God and the Bible. But I also believe in Past-lives, After-life, psychics/mediums, eternity, and the Other Side.

No one can ever convince me it is not TRUE. I have read many Sylvia Brown books, Rosemary Althea books, John Edwards, Mitch Alborn, and more. These authors are believers and they work for God. God uses them as a tool to get information out. It is good you are questioning things as I did. Because of that more information will come to you. Your soul will grow and learn as it was intended.

How do I know without a doubt it is all TRUE?
I was able to get a message from a brother that died in 1994. He told me through a Medium the same identical word by word sentence he told me before he died. Right in his hospital bed. Why did he do this? He wants me to know he is ok and in heaven with our Dad. He knew I would know it was him if he gave me that exact sentence. I knew it was him.

That is not all. Many awesome things have happened to me these last 3 years. I am taking a college class called "Self Discovery". When I am a few days into it I am told by the teacher that she is a medium. I was shocked. From there it gets great. She has told me many things that have already came true. Unusual things. She is teaching us to live out best lives, God as our center, praying, meditation, mandellas, and our purpose in this live and our past lives. I have grown so much, and grown even closer to God. No one could ever know what she knows about me, no one.

I have read that we live many lives on Earth. Our souls can come back to learn and grow. Why? To be closer to God and his will for us. Each time if we do good we go back to the Other Side (heaven) on a higher plane. We do bad we return on a lower plane further from God and the wonders in heaven. We chart our course for this life before we are born. We even pick are parents and families. We pick the families that can help us grow in the way we need to.

We are here to learn:
wisdom, patience, courage, understanding, tolerance, compassion, hope, faith, forgiveness, and love.

Here are some books for you. If Syvia Brownes books are a little hard for you to understand try Rosemary Altheas books. They are down to earth and a good starting point.

The Eagle and the Rose by Rosemary Althea
The Proud Spirit by Rosemary Althea
Soul Signs by Rosemary Althea
Discover your Destiny by Robin Sharma
Life on the Other Side by Sylvia Browne
Dreams by Sylvia Browne
Prophecy by Sylvia Browne

and to improve your life this is a great book:

The Luck Factor by Dr. Richard Wiseman

Good Luck on your Journey

When we die we will be judged. We all have a book of life. Our books tell no lies. They cannot be erased. Turn to the Lord as soon as possible and the book is headed in the right direction. After we are judged we find out the results. Heaven or Hell. God doesn't choose for us, our lives and our book do. In the paradise of Heaven, all will be gran and happy. In the presence of the Lord. No worries, all love. If ones life on earth warrants hell, it won't be a party. But people, its not too late to repent and turn to the Lord. He loves each one of us unconditionally!!! Each and every day. Please turn from your sinful lives and follow the Lord! The life after death is eternal. Our time on earth is only for a short time.

There's so many different beliefs out there, no one can tell you exactly what will happen to you after you die. I'd be suspicious of those that spend so much energy insisting that they are right. me thinks they doth protest too much to be that secure in those beliefs.

I personally do believe in past lives. If you're interested in exploring this, a hypnotherapist might be able to help you recover memories from your past lives. Some people have intense spiritual experiences when hypnotized that help them get in touch with their unique spirituality. It certainly can't hurt you, so it may be worth a try.

In God's image we are three in one. Body, soul, and spirit. The bible says that God knew us before the foundations of the earth. This was a time when we lived in spirit only. Then we are born, given a body to operate in this world, and a soul to hold all of our emotions. When this life is over the body cannot return with us to the spirit realm. Only the soul and the spirit. The soul will carry with it the testimony of how we lived our lives on judgment day and our spirits will either peacefully live or in torment die forever depending on what the testimony of our lives reveal to God.

You may be confused because you want a difinitive answer. You will never get one. The process is hidden from us. Be sure to keep your soul in a state of grace, or in communion with God. You will be fine. Get used to useing the NAME of Jesus. For lots of things, there is power in that name. Try to relax and pray more and wonder less. God bless.

The Bible answers that simply.

Hebrews 9:27-28 (King James Version)

27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

28So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
