I think most guys would feel emasculated if you tried to "empress" them. Maybe emperor him instead?

Ask to go eat someplace cheap - Order something ike Frenchtoast ot a grilled cheese sandwhich. Chew a little bit with your mouth open, but smile! Worked for me for 39 years!
