I have been reading comments posted the same question i'm asking and i don't know whether some people were joking or not lol
Bleach, Peroxide, Tip ex and Charcoal -- these were a few that i was baffled about.
If the bleach or peroxide are true could you please tell me how long it takes for them to come into effect.
Your help would be most appreciated

Use crest whitestrips- even my dentist loves 'em, Listerine makes a whitening bre-brush rinse, and then find yourself a good whitening toothpaste.
I only use a whitestrips like once a month or less and only one treatment.
I smoke and drink coffee all day and people tell me how white my teeth are all the time! : )
Good luck...

hey there, I use the little Colgate brush whitener, it's a travel size, and you put it on as often as you like. It's also really great because whenever I'm on my way somewhere I brush some on my front teeth, and wear it until it eventually comes off. It's cheap too! Another idea is that baking soda works too! Just dip your wet toothbrush in the box, and scrub. It will strip everything left behind, make teeth really clean, and smooth, and will also will whiten them. Hope this helps!

I use Rembrandt 2 hour whitening and it has had some dramatic results! I don't follow the package directions, though. I use 1 gel per night for at least an hour. I am a smoker and a Pepsi drinker and people have noticed a BIG improvement.

My son's fiancee is a dental technician and mentioned that someone who had used 'whitening toothpaste' ended up with thinner transparent front teeth. As a result I threw my mine away.I won't be using it again. I will put up with the slightly yellow tea stained teeth that I have.
