I agree with you. It's so much easier to blame God or anyone else, rather than you yourself be guilty. Good advise and well said!!

WAIT WAIT WAIT!
I was told that what I am was determined before I was born... wait no... Im told that I have free will and it is my fault... but then again, I was told that I was tempted and forced into my current Satanic beliefs by the Devil
I was told all of the above by the same group of religious folks....
Im so confused, and now I can't blame my problems on someone else! BOO FREAKIN' HOO!

Finally!!!!!!
A positive answer for the God-haters that read these articles.
I must admit there is no-found fault at what you wrote, but only 100% truthfulness.
Thank you for standing up for your religious freedom and courage to speak the truth for all the God-Haters out there!!

The next time someone finds a Bible or a religion "inside themsleves" I suppose you'll have a point.

Then I guess that I am tacky for answering your question.
And He walked to a nearby hill, and turned to the people, and
spoke thusly:
"Blessed be those who are poor in spirit, for theirs is the
kingdom of heaven."
"Blessed be those that mourn, for they shall be comforted."
"Blessed be the meek, for they shall live to inherit the earth,
long after the strong, and the proud, and the warlike have killed each
other in their pride."
"Blessed be those that hunger and thirst after the Truth, for
they shall know it."
"Blessed be the merciful, for they shall have mercy shown unto
them."
"Blessed be the pure in heart, for they shall see the Deity all
the days of their lives and after."
"Blessed be those that make peace among men, for they shall be
called the Children of the Diety."
"Blessed be those that are persecuted for the sake of the Truth,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
Blessed be you, when men shall persecute you, and perjure
themselves against you, and lie about you, and say all manner of evil
against you falsely, for your reward is great indeed."
"Let your Light so shine before all humanity, that they may know
the Truth of you, and learn to live in love."

Thank you SO MUCH for saying that! It really needed to be said! I can't stand people who have nothing better to do than try to make everyone as cynical as them. YOU GO MAN!

I think you got it backwards. It is the religious ones who can't take responsibility for their own actions. The non religious are the ones with only themselves to blame.

This sounds amazingly like how I feel about blinkered religious types.
Isn't that ironic?
