Again, if you are not Christian PLEASE do not answer! Faith without works is dead. Please see 2 Pet 1:5, Jacob 2, 1st John 3:18, Apoc 14:13. I just want to prove to someone that if you regret doing a good deed, God will not reward you for it. Yes you do get rewarded for your deeds, you don't get saved by your deeds, but u get rewarded. Anyways I remember reading about this in the Bible about regretting it but I can't find it now. Someone serious and with good Biblical knowledge please help me out. God bless you.

No, he won't. And no Bible references are necessary. Gods just don't exist, therefore they don't reward anybody for anything.
If you're only doing good deeds because you think you'll be rewarded, you are a really cold heartless person.
I'm an atheist. I do things for other people because I empathize with them. We are all in this together.
It's too bad that even though you're obsessed about what rewards you'll get for good deeds, you'll get none from your fictitious god. Luckily, there are atheists around who will help you just because you need help.
However, if you do come across me when I'm in need, please do help. And don't worry, I always try to repay in kind those who help me, so you'll at least get a reward from me. Maybe you'll even feel good about helping another person. That's the real reward for helping others. It also just makes the world a better place to live in.

You do not get rewarded for your deeds...faith by works is filthy rags in the eyes of God. (Isaiah 64:6)
You are saved by faith through grace, not works.
Read John 3:16.

II Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Common sense implies that God loves a cheerful giver, then it only stands to reason that God hates a grudging giver.

Firstly, as you understand, usually for the so called 'good' things we do, we store up treasures in heaven. It does not count for salvation as 'it is finished' by Jesus's work on the Cross.
See Matthew 25:31 onwards
"When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory...Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."
A good deed is a good deed. Part of being a Christian is that we choose to do the things of God even if it means we sacrifice something in the process, whether for now or later. As The Pastor pointed out, God loves a cheerful giver. He wants us to be willing to make the sacrifice WHEN we make the sacrifice. When we give we should be prepared for any costs or consequences that come thereafter. Paul knew full well that going to Jerusalem will get him arrested, but he saw the opportunity to spread the Gospel in Rome, and to defend his beliefs before Caesar. It cost him ultimately his life, but as he said in Philippians "To live is Christ, to die is gain". If God gets the glory it does not matter what happens to us afterwards.
Forgive me that I can't address whether God will reward the person for the deed, but even if the person now regrets the 'act of goodness', know that "in all things God works for the good of those who love him,who have been called according to his purpose." (Rom 8:28) This person may regret their decision, but as a love of God, and if in their sowing of the seed of goodness someone has been blessed, and God will use even that act of goodness to bring forth good fruit.
As Christians, does it really matter whether we get rewarded for every 'good' deed we do? Do we keep a balance sheet with God? As a matter of fact God knows every single deed, good or evil that we've committed, and will repay us accordingly as mentioned in Mt. 25 and elsewhere. However, our BIGGEST reward is already given- the gift of salvation and assurance of eternity with God in heaven. What more can we want in addition to that? Let us focus our perspective not on what we should get from God, but how we can continue to pour out our lives for him, WHATEVER the cost.

A loving parent would appreciate a son or daughter doing something good, even though their attitude about it was not good. I think likewise, a loving God appreciates it when we do good, and also hopes that we learn and can grow from the experience of doing good.
