ohhh noo im sorry but i REALLY think he hates you.....someone just paid him $10 bucks too go with you to this dance....and the compiments and hanging out is a result of his X girlfriend dumping him and now he's trying to make her jealous

sounds like you guys are friends, it is always good to be friends first since you guys are real cool with each other, ask him how he would feel about a relationship, the way it sounds that would not be the end of your friendship if he said no, but it does not sound like he willl say no.. good luck!!!

That would probably be a yes. If he doesn't make fun of you, if he doesn't try to hurt you, physically or emotionally, and when he does something that you don't like and you tell him to stop and he stops, then that means that he likes you.

if you have been friends for a long time it is probably more of a bother sister thing......it definately sounds like the is some chemistry there. if your not sure just ask him.

I would think so from what you say. Why would you not think he likes you? Anyone who doesn't stay around someone for any length of time more than likely doesn't like them but this is not true in your case from what you say, now is it?
