On post, we have a DFAC (Dining Facility) and they have an excellent breakfest. Omlets, pancakes, ceral, potatoes-typical breakfest. You go through the line and they hook you up.
Lunch is a hot lunch. We have a short order line where you can burgers, fries, hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwhiches, pizza or you get a main line which varies. Thursdays here we have fried chicken and southern food.
Dinner is about the same as lunch and varies.
Weekends suck.
If you are married like I am and live off post, you get seperate rations added to you pay for groceries.
In the field, you either get an MRE (meals ready to eat) or T-Rats, which are foul in my opinion.
In Iraq, Halliburton did run our dining facility.
You get bottled water in Iraq, as much as you need. Supply brings more as needed to troops in the field.

On base? In the field? Under fire? At sea? Onboard a lengthy flight? On a submarine? Does the service person have any special diet needs - allergic to something or religious or moral concerns?
Further, I'm not certain that Halliburton has anything to do with this one. But your question is too broad to be answered.

There's also pokey bait, all the snacks that you bring along with you. I try to avoid eating MRE's as much as possible. When I can I cook up a Lipton Instant Side and dump a can of oysters or a foil packet of chicken in there (it only takes 10 minutes). When there's not time to cook power bars and pbj usually do the trick.

My husband was in Iraq for 15 months and he said the food was great. For breakfast they have like a salad bar with fresh fruits and yogurt and cottage cheese.Lunch regular food, like spaghetti or flap steak, and a salad bar, all you can drink juices, milk or tea, and for dinner basically the same as lunch. He said they had it pretty good. Over in Iraq they even have Burger king set-ups in trailers and some pizza place. Its not so bad actually.

The meals are prepared by a kitchen staff, that is hi calorie and hi carb...balanced and not bad..Water is mostly bottled today.
MREs are similar in make up, but not nearly as tasty
