My partner, or should I say, ex partner, left me just over a month ago (we lived together). I asked many times for 'no contact', but he seems to call, text, email, or come over (I'm still in the same house) a lot.

He recently spent a couple of days/nights on the weekend, and now nothing from him in four days. I know I'm being ridiculous - I need some help from you all. He says things like he misses me, and that he thinks about getting back together, and in the next breath he says 'I think its the right thing to do' (breaking up). I'm extremely confused. He seems miserable, as am I - what can I do?

We met a couple of years ago at work, he left my work for a new job about five months ago, but has now moved in with someone at our old work - someone I sit next to every day.

Please help me - I need to know what I can do here. Am I being daft for holding on? What the hell is his motivation for seeing me, etc. Please help - expecially guys - I'd like to know what you think.

Sorry - he's moved in with a mutual male friend of ours.

Be strong and tell him to get the hell out of your life. You don't deserve to be screwed around like that. Find something else to fill your time right now. Go out with friends, find something to get all hazy crazy about like cooking or reading. Get a pet, something. And everytime you think of him think of dog crap on your shoe. You'll be over him in no time at all. And ready to find someone that really wants to be with you for who you are.

Well for one he has just made sure your avalible for him to come to you and get what he wants. And your his woman on the side now not unless you cut him off and tell him to go play in traffic blindfolded. Your not been dumb just in love with something that's not going to happen. ANd I bet the girl at work doesn't know he's getting from you too. The first thing to do is change locks in your house and don't give nobody a key just you. ANd then tell him next time come over that he misses you and acting slick tell him that hey there's a motel down the street so go. ANd I would move on if I was you and find someone who will treat you right and won't mess with your head. SO want a friend or just want to chat IM me anytime.

let go that may be hard, but he lives with someone and is still staying with you sometimes, sounds like he wants to have his cake and eat it too, I hate when guys do that. It is going to take you meeting someone else to get over him, if you keep letting him stay over and call you, you will only end up stuck with him and you will never move on, becuase you will be waiting for him to decide what he wants.

He is totally insecure and confused and does not really knowwhat he wants. Give him time and space and he will hopefully work it out. I detect a bit of anxiety/depression in there as well with him so just have patience and get on with your life.

quit letting him play with you and then he will have no more personal power over you anymore... you need to let him go or keep suffering, which one do you want.. it is that simple :) :) :)
