In my many years of dating experience (I'm 25 and have been doing it for the past 10 years) I have noticed many different things. The only time I have ever seen someone lick their lips is when a woman or a man is getting ready to kiss someone. Generally when I see an attractive girl and she notices me as well I give her a slight nervous smile and kinda look down, I then glance back up and if she smiles back I simply walk over and start conversation. At least if she's still looking it shows somewhat of an interest. Ahhhh flirting is so much fun.

licking a lip is sometimes nothing more than a nervous reaction... his lips and mouth could tend to get dry.... although some may do so out of letchery...lol. So once the guy wets he lips pay attention to what else he does... if he wets lips, and then looks at your boobs, I would say it's the latter choice....if he wets his lips and then acts very shy....it's the first choice... But every guy has a way of reacting to women.....and nervousness is the biggest part of it, especialaly with a very attractive female....

Sometimes, but it's not an unconscious reaction if that's what you mean. It's more of a mating call I guess to show someone that he's interested. Sort of like when I'm sitting with someone and I want to show her that I am interested I lean forward slightly rather than just lounge around.

I don't lick my lips, only time I do is when they're dry. However I've noticed women doing so when I'm talking to them.

No!!!!!! It means he is a slime ball and can only express himself with lewd gestures such as licking his lips... essencially he is saying that you would taste good...It's rude and down grading... Nice guys don't behave that way, stay away from those kind of guys, they have NO class and are clueless!!

Not so for every male. Certain ones, yes. It's the same for women. I've seen them do it, too. It's not everyone.

i think that only the ones who want to mess around with you would do that. usually if a guy wants to meet you he would usually smile at you. thats what i think anyway.
