whats it mean when a guy asked my bestfriend if i liked him and then he said tell her i like her! and then i went up to him and told him omg why do you keep telling her to tell me all that crap? and he went back to her and said omg why did you tell kali that it was just a joke! and now he stares at me but he really doesnt talk to me that much anymore! does he really like me? or was it really a joke? and if it was a joke why would he waste his time telling me he likes me when he doesnt? and why would he choose me out of all girls?

Whenever someone says, "why me?" The inevitable response is, "why not?"
He's just annoyed. I would be too if there were a whole bunch of girls telling me things like that. "so and so likes you...," "Oh it's just a joke!" "Oh my gosh..." "Like, it's not true!"
It can get pretty annoying and that's why he's probably looking mad so you can leave him alone and stop bothering him.
I don't think he likes you.

he is shy, scared and hormones are messing up his mind... it is a male thing....
Lesson #1, don't use your friends too convey messages... talk too him directly....
if he is stareing at you, he probably likes you but now is kind of embarissed so you might have to go talk to him...
if he doesn't like you, you won't turn too dust... but had a chance to talk to a boy and say hi and all... that is all...

he's just playing it off, trying not to let it embarrass him. he does like you, but he has some pride there...maybe you confronting him was a bit unexpected, and put him on the spot and saying that to your friend was just a way to make him feel cool again.

he really liked you but you went off on him by saying it was crap so i really wouldn't know if he still likes you it really depends on what kinda person it is if you liked someone and meant it wouldn't you feel bad if he went off on you but i really don't know it seems like he likes or liked you.i wish you the best of luck
