Tea contains compounds that help blood flow and are thus good for cardiovascular health. A study apparently found that proteins in milk inhibit these compounds and therefore cancel out much of the cardiovascular health benefits of tea.

I did not see the citytv report about putting milk in your tea. I have been putting a little milk in my hot tea for years, so I see nothing wrong with it.
