It doesnt have to be your biological brother, it can be any guy that is a couple of years older than you (as long as you are a woman... if you are a guy, then you would call him Hyeong). As long as you are friendly with them, you wouldn't call your boss or teacher 'Oppa' they would be called 'SonSaengNim'...
