This means stop all this nonsense of giving these people rights that they do not deserve. We need to make it harder for these people to come here and live. Now it seems this politician and that one are giving illegals rights they dont derserve along with refuge. This IS a crucial issue. Why are we allowing this? Isnt there something we can do to get out politicians to listen. Most Americans are for a crackdown on illegal immigration. So why wont they listen to us? This is a matter of our way of life but more importantly, national security.

To a couple of you, just so you know: dont you think if its this easy for the Mexicans to cross over, that just maybe certain groups who want to kill us will use that same route? Highly likely if you ask me.

You need to watch more news buddy stop spending your whole day on yahoo answers. FYI: The terrorists that hijecked the planes used for the 9/11 attcks are believed to have entered the U.S. via the Canadian border. In which border were just recently not so long ago found tons of explosives believed to be for terrorist purposes? was it the Mexiacan Border? Im sorry but this is just crap. Politicians call this "war" the war on Terrorism but tell me why arent we putting up fences in the Canadian Border? Why arent we sending troops to the Canadian border?

I live in Cochise County, AZ! I KNOW firsthand about the overtaking of illiegals in this region. People who don't live here don't see it on a daily basis. We are losing our country! We LOVE when the minutemen come to help the border patrol here. This county is a very rural area mostly made up of ranchers and farmers. A dear neighbor of mine (farmer) actually found prayer rugs in his field!! Of course he reported it, and they were turned in, but I really think there's some kind of coverup, because nothing was ever made of it. No news etc... It's very very scary. This country needs a wakeup call.

You migth have somewhat of a point but the people that use the mexico boarder only come to live a better life & as for the security risk just so you know some of my college friends are mexican and some of them went to figth in the iraq war to help us.

People just don't care enough to make the politicians, left or right, do anything. Lets see how fast they act when a dirty bomb hits, and we find out it was trucked in thru Mexico.

Nothing will be done until - God help us all - terrorists come across the border and slaughter thousands more innocent people. Neither party wants to address the situation - might cost them votes in the future. Really pisses me off!

I encourage you to write your local congressmen and senators and express your concern. Chances are that they will dismiss your fears as alarmist, but they cannot say that you didn't share your misgivings about current policy with them.

no, thats blowing things out of proportion ... what we really need to do is figure out a way to solve some problems in this country without blaming everything on the illegals ... either that, or lets go ahead and hurry it up already and deport them all so u can realize it didnt solve one goddam thing ... then maybe we can get down to buisness ...

All the same, not it is NOT a reason to get up and bothered about Iillegal immigration. I see this and Bush's war on terra two separate things.
