How do I burn extra calories and allow my body to heal at the same time? Or are there some low intesity exercises that I can do? Today is suppossed to be my rest day, but is it okay to do some small stretches? All of a sudden I have found myself really motivated to exercise and work out, but now I don't want to stop, even though I know I should. I find myself less stressed and alot more calm after working out, and it makes me feel really good. And when i am not exercising I tend to want to eat, even though I'm really not hungry. What should I do?
Thanx!

Work different parts of the body in rotation. I outlined my schedule in my 360 Blog entry of August 14 if you are interested in an example.

I know what you mean. Maybe some slow easy warm-ups and then some relaxed stretches might help. then, how about walking? Its a good exercise. Even if you just march in place for 20 minutes or so, you are still moving around but not pulling your sore muscles too much.
Good luck to you! Sounds like you are on the right track!

first you need to do cardio, walking, treadmill, elliptical etc before lifting any weights. you should never life weights before warming up. this doesn't mean stretching which come after exercising. if you have not worked out for a while, workout every other day to let your muscles rest, and never use the same muscle groups two days in a row. for example just do legs one day and arms the next. start slowly otherwise you will hurt and burn out or just hate it and stop working out. working with a personal trainer at your club for better control of your routine.

I run cross country and track, and on days when my legs are sore I cross-train. Try riding your bike, or using a stationary bike. You could also do yoga, which will help stretch your sore muscles, calm you, and burn calories. If youre brave, you could try taking an ice bath.

It is ok to do small stretches on your day off. The best place to do them is in a hot bath it usually helps with some of the pain but not all. Do not do strenious exersizes on your day off your body needs some time to recupe.

hope this helps

Rotate your exercises. Try to focus on different areas of the body each day and that will give you enough time to recuperate.

If only your legs are sore, then go work out on your arms and abs.

Swim. It is almost no impact, and your muscles and joints can recover.
