whats the point of life?

lately ive been thinking about it pretty hard and i thought up of a few things but i figure whats the point if all you have to do is work your whole life and live the same routine so tell me what are your thoughts on this?

If you can realize how improbably lucky you are to even be conscious about your situation, then even the more mundane aspects of your life take a totally different perspective - and then you cease to view the more boring or tedious aspects of our human condition as ends in themselves.

Yeah, we all have to look where we most often than not stumble, but we also must not lose sight of the horizon, where our potential as individuals and as a species lies... Don't let the dust of the ground where you stand prevent you from reaching for the stars !

I have many different opinions on this 1st God gave us all a gift of life, which is my personal most important thing. But you have to realise what we do in life is who we become. If you are having trouble with things in your life you can change them maybe find another job one that you enjoy.Life is short and precious change the things in your life that you don't like and see if you feel different in some time.All of us have to work I don't know your situation but I am no where close to being rich just barely make ends meet, but I'm happy and content with that. Get out and enjoy life it doesn't take much money to have a good time. Think about some of the different things you can do to make you happy I wish you the best of luck.

u make a good point but none of us ask to be here at first place.
now that we r all here we have to do the routine if we want to live.

we ask qestion like yours when we get sick and tried of live and when we every thing goes well for us, like love, money, joy every that bring happiness in our live, we won't think of WHAT IS THE POINT OF LIFE. with happiness, we will beg for 2moro again and again.

yes i agree with you but we are here now and if we want to live our like here then we have to do things we don't want to, to stay alive.
if we knew other places with no work, school or anything that make us mad, we would whish ASAP but there isn't a place like where we r now, so we can choose to live or die. we also don't our being died feels like.

well it also depends on what u whant to do. i whant to be a profesinal soccer player and the point in life for me is to trie and reach my dream. and if it never works out their is olways something else i can trie to do like i can speek 4 languages and i can problably work in a job that travels the world. sure i will be working for ever at least till im 63 or so but i would also get days off like vacations and i would trie to enjoy them as much as i can.

gr8888888 question......actually thats exactly wat i usually think..i mean wats the point of life...all a person does in the first 20 years is complete his education which by the way has only one purpose for him to earn and work for the rest of ur life and so u earn for the rest of ur life,marry,grow kids and die
....FULL STOP....
And then u realize that NATURE never made u to fulfil the MOST IMPORTANT MISSION of this universe....NATURE made u like anything else in this universe,ur just a part of this universe as the rock,planets,air,other species,sea,land...thats how this universe goes...
But the advantage which nature or GOD gave u is the fact that u hav the brain and the intelligence to change ur surroundings,ur environment and ur world...that single ability can be utilized to do many great things.......
for example have u ever wondered......wats the point of life of those poor children living in africa dying everyday from serious diseases such as cancer and aids...well their life comes to an end before even having the capability of thinking about their point of life...and here u could make a contribution by helping those children by charity.etc. than u hav a point of life here...
similarly if u think about it...the science and technology which we have is really changing our surrouding and the world we know...u can make a point in life or objective of ur life by really excelling in field of science and technology just for the well fare of science and for the thousands of generations ahead of us...i mean think about it,einstien was a normal person like u..but he had an ambition in life and he changed the world for the upcoming generations...
similarly u could understand the point of life by actually understading all the major religions and actually searching for the truth...all of us born in societies which believe in different religions,we are what we are and believe what we are becuase of the society in which we lived our lives..u could go a step further by searching for the actual truth about these religions..i mean i know people who dedicated their lives in christianity and islam just to know the truth..
THE POINT IS THAT THERE IS NO POINT OF THIS LIFE UNTIL U MAKE AN OBJECTIVE,AN AIM,AN AMBITION IN THIS LIFE..AND THE THING TO REMEMBER IS THAT THIS LIFE IS ONLY FOR ONCE SO WHY DONT WE UTILIZE IT IN THE PERFECT WAY,SO THAT WE DONT REGRET IT IN FUTURE..

there is no point
u get born, go to school every day, go to highschool, go to colege, go to work, marry, get children , retire, die. thats it. i think about it often too. i guess there is no point, uless u count achieving something, finding love, and putting urself in history books.
