Put your shoes away.
A puppy can't shew on shoes if they aren't left out.
And provide lots of other chew toys for him.

First, put all shoes away out of the pup's reach except a pair you are willing to use as "bait". you must be vigilant about keeping all shoes out of reach until you are totally confident your dog is trained to leave them alone.
Next, purchase substitute chew toys that your puppy can chew on. Your puppy is teething for its first several months and needs to chew on acceptable items.
Finally, use Apple Bitter or mild to medium hot sauce on the "bait" shoes. I recommend the Apple Bitter be tried first. You can purchase this at the pet store. Some dogs do like this taste so you may need to try another product or, as a last resort, the hot sauce. (Do not use very strong hot sauce as it can burn the dogs mouth in a very bad way) Be sure to spray the Apple Bitter thoroughly on the shoes. When you see your puppy go to the bait shoes, steer them to a chew toy instead. Hitting or yelling doesn't work. Tell them "No shoes" in a stern voice and praise them lavishly when they chew on the offered toy. Always praise them when they chew their own toys by choice. When you can see that the puppy always leaves the shoes alone, you can attempt leaving other shoes around. However, I would only do this if I was willing to take a chance on losing another pair of shoes. Do not give them an already ruined pair of shoes as "their" shoes as they are not able to recognize which shoes are okay to chew and which ones aren't okay.

first keep your shoes picked up and put away, unless the pup is chewing on the shoes whille still on your feet. get a crate for your dog and put your puppy in it whenever you can't directly observe the pup. when you catch your puppy in the act say NO in a firm but not angry or yelling tone. then place the puppy into a sit position while saying SIT at the same time and in the same tone as no. it will take awhile, consistency is the key. always have the same response for the action no matter what words or actions you choose to work best for your dog. if your dog knows exactly what will happen each time he does something incorrect he will learn faster, than if he gets a mixed message. make sure eveyone around your pup corrects them in the same way you choose to. remember to be loving, consistant and patient. your pup doesn't know what's right from wrong it's up to you to teach them that. all learning takes awhile, it won't happen overnight or with one correction. just be patient. good luck.

It's really no different than human babies teething...their gums are irritated and they NEED to chew stuff.
1. Put your shoes where the puppy can't reach them.
2. Purchase a variety of chew toys for puppies......they NEED to chew. (avoid rawhide....they can tear off chunks that can get stuck in their digestive tracts.....instead get a nyla bone) You can purchase chew toys almost everywhere...even the grocery store.

Here are my suggestions. I would buy him or her a chew toy. Hide the shoes in a high place. Or spray him with a water bottle.
