According to the Christians who responded to one of my earlier questions about this, they are born WITH original sin hanging over their heads.

Who told this to you? Baby's are born into our sinful world. Adam and Eve started it all. They are dead. There is no hell place of fire and torture. There is just DEATH. We are lucky that we will die in this world and hopefully many of us will be resurrected with Jesus Christ for he saved us with his blood he shed.
Anyway, to answer your question more. Baby's like anyone else who has not been taught about Jesus and GOD and the Bible truths will indeed die in this life .. but the good news is.... they will be awakened in the resurrection and be taught about the loving laws GOD gave us, and yes if they follow those loving laws they will then live in our NEW world... if they don't and their heart is not loving they will DIE. Like never awaken again. There is no hell, that is just a falsehood to scare people away from the truth. If you study the bible and look into the Greek and Hebrew word meanings you will find that Hell and hades means death... death is asleep. The only person that can awake us from the common grave - which is anywhere we die, in ashes or body... God and Jesus will awaken us when they are ready, and if we are deserving.
A baby is most definitely deserving don't you think. Why would a loving GOD create such an awful place anyway. That is Satan and his demon angels tricking our minds and those misreading the Bible that give people wrong ideas and in this some people use their magnetism to fool others again that these beliefs are correct. Pity them.
We sin because our foreparents sinned. It is in us, but it is for us as parents to teach our children the right way, so when we are "tempted" whatever it maybe ie pinching some freshly baked cookies Mum just told us to leave, or pinching $100 from Dad's wallet, or stealing from a dept store, or to make out with your best friends girl or have sex with anyone in any form without consequence or conscious, or to take drugs or to give others drugs etc... anything that "tempts" we have to teach our kids and others that are not in the knowledge of our Saviour and GOD the right way.
At out school the chaplain gives out these cool bracelets that have: W W J D ? on them. What would Jesus do? It's for our young people to try and make the right decisions and think about the choices and challenges Jesus over came and hopefully we will choose the right thing.
What are the numbers for? Just curious.
sorry to be long winded, but there are so many people out there teaching the wrong Bible principles it's just scary.
Have a great day.

Bible supplies one get mutually exhibiting that babies flow to heaven. David's toddler son died - David had suggested that his son couldn't come decrease back to him, yet that he might want to sometime be going to him. Bible also teaches that someone is less than God's grace till they are previous adequate to comprehend precise from incorrect and able to opt for on their own. there have been little ones as youthful as 4 yrs of age, who've understood the plan of salvation - note of they favor a Savior and standard Christ. it is continually 5 or 6 earlier they somewhat comprehend. Jesus changed into the purely exception -- He changed into virgin born - so He changed into both human And divine. definite, technically All babies who've died have lived their short lives sinless.. which signifies that each and each and every one babies that were aborted are in heaven. it is also real that everybody has a sin Nature. And that 'Nature' is what receives us into difficulty.

We generally say that children come into the "age of reasoning" about the age of 8, but depending on the child it could be as late as 10 or 11 or as young as 6.
It's the time in everyone's life when they can honestly begin to understand and reason like an adult. Before then we say they are sinless because they are incapable of understanding the consequences of their actions.

The theory is that babies are born deep inbedded in sin. The "original sin", caused by the fact that the baby's parents dared having sex, an activity to be avoided at all costs despite being obviously created by nature.
It seems the god created by men is a vengeful and spiteful character.

i agree that its when they begin to reason. for example, when even if a child shot someone, he would not be punished in the same way as a man. the child may not understand what he is doing, while the man does. its the same reason why people with insanity problems are not punished in the same way of a normal person doing same crime. In islam, children are believed to be innocent. they do not have to fast, or pray until they reach an age when they are more mature and can handle it. if a small child dies he goes straight to heaven, regardless of his race, gender, or religion. how is a baby born with sin? a baby is pure innocence

I believe it is the uniform testimony of Scripture that those who are not capable of making a decision to receive Jesus Christ, and who have died, are now with Christ in heaven, resting in His tender arms, enjoying the sweetness of His love. There are numerous factors supporting this viewpoint.
It is highly revealing that in all the descriptions of Hell in the Bible, we NEVER read of infants or little children there. Only adults capable of making decisions are seen there. Nor do we read of infants and little children standing before the Great White Throne judgement, which is the judgement of the wicked dead and the precursor to the lake of fire (Rev 20:11-15). The complete silence of Scripture regarding the presence of infants in eternal torment militates against their being there.
Jesus and the children. As we examine instances in which Christ encountered children during His earthly ministry, it would seem that children have a special place in His kingdom. Jesus even said, "Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mat 18:3) He also said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me (verse 5). I don't think there is any way someone could read through Matthew 18 and conclude that it is within the realm of possibility that Jesus could damn such little ones to hell!

Babies are by no means born with sin. Babies are born into a sinful world. A baby has no idea of right and wrong and until he or she reaches a point where they know the difference between right and wrong, they are innocent.

Don't know the age of accountability, but there does come a time when a person becomes resposible for his/her own actions. Babies and Children under the age of accountability are actually not born sinners, but are born into sin, meaning that they are born in a sin-sick world. Children do not take on the sin of their parents. The bible says that Children are not to be put to death for their parents sins and parents are not to be put to death for the sins of their children. Each is to be put to death for their own sins. (and death doesn't always mean literall croak-over-and-die-death either. It can mean spiritual death also.)

According to Islam, Children are born innocent. They are not accountable for their actions until peuberty. Up til the age of 21 God is very lenient with them because they are still learning to be reponsible adults.
If the child dies, his/her grave becomes like a garden of paradise. On the day of judgement, he/she goes to heaven without having to wait for judgement.
If an infant dies, then on the day of judgement he/she will kling to his/her parents and refuse to enter paradise unless God allows his/her parents to enter with him/her. God, in his infinite mercy will allow the family to enter paradise together, no matter how many sins the parents had accumulated.
