No way it is poisoness and they will lick it off the coat. Also I very much doubt the dogs have lice, this is a human problen and they only live on clean hair.It is more likely that your dogs have ticks which they pick up from other dogs or even grass. Ask your local petshop for something and explain you think they have tics, if it doesnt work go to the vets. Tics can be very debilitating for a dog because they drink the dogs blood and eventually make them aneamic.

Yes, dogs can so get lice. But talk to your vet, there is specific medicine out there for dogs. The meds that humans use is too toxic.

No. Dogs cannot get human lice. Only fleas, which is animal lice. If your dog has fleas, you need to treat him with a flea treatment. Lice treatments can harm him.

NO. dog's are not typically a good host for human lice. could your dog simply have fleas? if you think it's a mite and don't know for sure, take her to your vet and let them examine her and check her over. they can reccomend what to put on her that is safe in dogs.

Dogs need products for what bugs they can get. Not the ones people get. I am guessing that your dog is scratching? Maybe has some raw areas? If so, get a Vet to check your dog so you can get the right product to treat the right condition. Mange is something people can get from dogs (scabies). Fungal infections can be transmitted too, like "Ringworm".
But dog products are suited to dogs since they lick and bite at themselves and products suitable for people could be toxic to dogs.

Do not put the medicine on your dog! Take your dog to the vet and have them check him/her and prescribe the correct medicine for what he/she has.
