How much money in tip should I pay for hotel per day?

do u mean pay the housekeeper that cleans the room? tips shouldnt go to the hotel. if its an economy lodging motel/hotel i would say $! a day if you are a long term guest. if you are less clean and made a mess than i would pay more than that. if its only 1 nite stay bt 1-5 is acceptable. for more fancy places anywhere from $5-20 is standard to leave a tip at the end of a short stay 1-2days. this is of course if u feel like u received good service or if u kno you left a mess behind in the room.

For the cleaning person, $3 per day is standard. More or less depending on satisfaction.
