Humans yearn for the truth. Science can be depended on. Theories can be tested and verified - we want to know everything we can find out. What's wrong with that I ask you. Why sit back and just say "Oh, some god it it" and leave it at that? I hear something... it's repeating itself in my head... wait a sec. I got it... it says "LAZY!".

Absolutely. Nothing should not be off-limits to scientific investigation, particularly outlandish hypotheses such as the Creation.

god gave us our intelligence so that we could use it. figuring out how the universe works, and discovering how complex it really is, just makes it seem more and more amazing.
