((FOR THE REAR))For the tire I prefer around a 255/50/15 I was just wandering what offset I would need to fit tires around this size on the 15x8 wheel. I would need a positive offset I'm sure but what would be best??? Thanx a lot for the help.

they should be close to 0, check with the tirerack.com :)

I put 4 inch offset on my 69 with 22560R15.
A Simple man should do some research!!! There is no such thing as a Zero offset.The offset is the distance from the mounting surface to the inner rim.Look in a Jegs catalog for a picture.

most aftermarket rims that are 15x8 have 4" offset.

I agree with edselman, they would need to be close to Zero. Four inches makes no sense at all.
