I think the Bible days " G-g blesses those who bless the children of Israel" so it is wise for us (U.S.) to support them, but I think the real threat is from us to others. We can't seem to keep our noses out of other peoples oil.

No,North Korea is not a threat to anyone...They have the nuclear bomb and they didn't use it and probably never will,unless they are attacked...Iraq was not a threat to no one as proved and no one could find the famous WMD for which was attacked...
Israel ,this is another story...they do have the nuclear bomb,although many years they denied it,but last year Olmert suggested that Israel indeed has it.Last summer in Lebanon they did used a lot of unconventional weapons,most of them forbidden by the Geneva convention and it seems that they did used some uranium bombs...

North Korea and Iran may be bigger threats in the long run. This would certainly be the case is they are successfull in developing nuclear weapons in the next few years. It looks very much like diplomacy won't stop their paths towards getting the bomb. And wars with them are unthinkable.

Israel???? Get real man...I do agree with you however about North Korea. Kim Ill Sung is a demented leader, and very dangerous.
Israel is a stable ally of the United States, and has been for a very long time.

The US can't risk attacking N. Korea, unless they attack first. That might bring in Russia and/or China. And if they get involved, the US is toast.

Israel's a threat to no one until attacked or its existance is threatened by a real threat.

Sure if you want to think that. But me... I can't think of someone evil enough who wants to kill innocent people so I think we are safe for now unless we provoke them or if the president of Korea admires Hitler.
