They weren't baptized, circumcised, bad karma, he doesn't like them, he likes them so much he brutally killed them so they could live with him, he is nasty and vengeful, he is indifferent, they weren't free of original sin? Take your pick of any lunatic answer

God does not love everybody, that's misunderstood by laymen.
God is Holy and hates sin and those that sin are under his wrath.
Ps 5:5 The boastful shall not stand before your eyes; you hate all evildoers.
Not ALL are God's children either. Another mistake of those ignorant of God's Word.
1 John 3:10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.
Don't worry if you missed the flood (by the way it is estimated that there were 4 to 6 billion people on the earth when the flood took place, God saved 8) the next time is coming when He will destroy it with fire. Considering most people are mocking his return I would gather it will be happening soon.
This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2 that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, 3 knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4 They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, 6 and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. 7 But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. 8 But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness, 12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!

They were not his children but followers of the devil. Noah was also a preacher and told people for a very long time about the flood that was coming. They could have listened and have been saved from the coming destruction, but they did not believe and were damned.
So is it this way today. God has made a way to be saved and have eternal life. This is Jesus Christ. People choose not to obey the Gospel and believe in Christ to be saved, so then what is left? Only to perish because as it is written,
"There is none other name given under Heaven by which men must be saved."
"God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
God is just.

God's children were very sinful. Would not listen and disobeyed all of God's Laws. They did not live the lifes of good children. So to cleanse the earth and rid the earth of evil , He sent a flood. They parished in the flood, because they were so sinful. Will this happen again ?? Not by flood, because God promised not to send a flood again. But I think the next cleansing will come by fire. Only God knows.

Not all people are God's children. Those that believe and follow him are his children. Yes, he created everybody but you are only his child if you choose to be. God did mankind a good deed by destroying people who were so b ad there was no hope for them, and starting over.

God didnt actually kill the children. Sometimes he allows things to happen for a reason. It could be because the did something wrong too.

The bulk of humanity had been polluted by the fallen angels. They practiced deviant behavior and had grown so far from God that God decided to take the one family who had not become seduced , (Adam's direct descendents), and repopulate the earth. The decendents of Cain were not of Adam's bloodline.

God is also a righteous judge and actually judges sin. The only one righteous left on earth at that time was Noah and his family. Everyone else did nothing but sin continuously.

The flood was caused by a massive nuclear explosion, not by God.

Apparently things didn't turn out as He had thought so he had to start over. But since God is all knowing he would have known this was coming, but I guess he forgot to plan for it.

John 8:39:
39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham
41Ye do the deeds of your father
44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
His children do His works
