You probably won't believe it once you've read my answer, but I'm actually a pretty good cook now that I'm all grown up. But when I was little, my favorite lunchbox sandwich was baloney on Wonder bread topped with thin slices of dill pickle, which turned the inside surfaces of the bread an interesting yellowy-green. (Isn't your mouth watering already?) The final touch was a small handful of Fritos smooshed in between the pickle and the top slice of bread. That way the sandwich crunched when you bit into it. And yes, it seemed delicious at the time!

When I was a chef I had many interesting items from a Prairie Oyster (Bull Testicle) at the Calgary Stampede, to Alligator sausage in Florida, to a dish in Thailand of a dip made from rotten fish and served with fried frog skin for a crispy dipping media, I also had a glass of snake wine in Hong Kong, and last but not least Kangaroo soup from Germany.
I ate all of these willingly, and would continue to day to if I was not retired from the restaurant business.

It's extremely difficult to find something that smells and feels (because it's slimy) more disgusting than natto. Natto is a fermented soy bean product that is eaten in Japan. The taste of natto is so unique than even a large number of Japanese people prefer not to eat it. Mustard and soy sauce is often added to the slimy mixture for extra seasoning and then piled on top of a bed of hot rice. Yummy!

When I was a kid my dad used to catch and cook eel. I haven't had it since I was very young but it doesn't really sound very appitizing to me now. I also used to drink milk with maple syrup in it.
