I dont think your'e being mean...if you had carried on with the relationship, it could have gotten a lot worse...guys that tend to get clingy really early, in time tend to turn into controlling jealous guys. If a guy is telling you he loves you after a week, i think its a good time to tell him to put his foot on the break a little or step off because its definately not a heathy thing to start a new relationship on

For some reason girls don't like guys that are clingy and romantic. All the stuff we see in the movies is bullshit. What you did.. is typical of girls who don't care about men.

Were you mean to him? Yes. Will he get over it? depends on how much of a stalker he is. If you did care and respect him.. you'd hook him up with one of your girlfriends because he's such a great romantic guy who deserves someone who loves him back.

But because you only care about yourself and your own safety (don't worry this is normal for girls) you aren't gonna help him out.

Judging by your spelling you are too young to be going out with anyone. Good call on losing the bf.

No. You weren't mean. But you may have done the right thing. He may have been real possesive. And then it would have been harder to break up w/him in the long run.

no you are just not used to the attention right away and at the time you need to get rid of him because you felt like he was too much

I think you should have done it in person. hope you explained why, so he could work on not being so clingy for future gfs.
