Good question. I have one of my own.. Why is it okay to sin then do some hail mary's and it's all okay? Hmmm, doesn't make any sense does it?

SHOCK! Could the idea of trying to live a good life and help your fellow man REALLY ever compare to that warm, fuzzy smugness of knowing, beyond all doubt, that you're the bestest person in the whole wide world because you go to church once a week?
Wise up people. If you honestly believe God values church attendance more than acts of compassion, you're reading an entirely different book to me...

Tell you what. Think about what you wrote. God doesnt care what song you sing, or how you pray, or where you worship him. I learned a long time ago God is very easy going. As long as you are a good person Who Does Good things in this world, you will be alright. God will forgive you if you ask but you must ask with faith. Thats all i know

If your trying to the right thing, why would you beg for forgiveness? Usually, (And I haven't been in years) you go to church and actually give thanks. Thanks. You sing because well singing makes you feel good. And when the pastor speaks to you, it should feel like a conversation. (Well it should.) The terminology of "Begging for forgiveness" is way used out of context nowadays. You make it sound a if being forced or something. Strange view, dude.

you have got it all wrong.
you do not have to do any of the things you mentioned.
Jesus Christ is God!!
all you you have to do is ask with an open heart, for Jesus Christ to save you.
that's it.
no church.
no songs.
no sermons.
being good will not get you to Heaven.
Jesus says this:
John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

because most organised religion is made up. you have to beg for forgivness to keep you in place (to benefit the state), it is all balls. but jesus appears to say that all that stuff doesnt matter anyway, that being a good person is gods will and church and all that jazz is just add on stuff. so who cares.

Look he created us he is ok with that.
He is perfect you are not
You just have to accept Jesus as your savior and accept the fact that you have sinned and Jesus died for everyones sin. you dont have to go to church ever! he likes these because were still doing them and why would they be bad? were singing about how amazing our God is and if you cant accept that your not a good christian

Until you are able to humble yourself before God and ask forgiveness you will receive none.
